Pakistan has defeated Australia in a test match. India were leading 2-1 against West Indies and the tour ended abruptly as the West Indies player decided to fly back home due to their issues with the WICB. A decision that worked in favour of cricket was Indian and Sri Lankan cricket board shaking hands for a short ODI series. Just to fill the place of West Indies, Sri Lankan board showed a sporting spirit to send their team for a five ODI match series. Manoj Tiwary will lead India A side for the warm up match to be played at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Here is the India A squad for the warm up match: Manoj Tiwary (captain), Unmukt Chand, Manan Vohra, Karun Nair, Parvez Rasool, Karn Sharma, Stuart Binny, Dhaval Kulkarni, Jaspreet Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Sanju Samson, Manish Pandey and Kuldeep Yadav.
Sri Lankan team will be led by Angelo Mathews.
