They won against Srilanka but marginally and then they lost one to India, thanks to some brilliant fielding from India and good batting by Gambhir and Dhoni. Michael Clarke is injured and in his absence the captaincy is handed over to the experienced shoulders of Ricky Ponting. Wade may open the innings with Warner whereas Forrest is likely to retain his position in the team. Brett Lee is recovered well from his foot injury and we may see him back in action.
Srilanka need to make the most out of batting track at SCG. They don't need just glimpses but real good knock from Tharanga, Dilshan, Sangakkara and Jayawardene. Chandimal has been the most impressive so far in their batting line up. A lot relies on the shoulders of Malinga and Kulasekara to bowl well and restrict the home team to a low total.
