Star Sports brings T20 World Cup semi final and final Live!

Star Sports channels will continue telecasting T20 World Cup 2014 matches as we are now all set for the second semi final. Cricket fans in India can enjoy live cricket telecast in Hindi and English commentary. One can also enjoy live cricket streaming on Star Sports official website. Let us now preview the India vs South Africa match scheduled to play later today. We have the final scheduled on 6th April thankfully with a reserve day on 7th.

India with comfortable wins over Bangladesh, Pakistan, West Indies and Australia have made an early entry to the semi finals. India happens to be the only unbeaten team in this cup so far. And this reminds us of India's winning streak in the ICC Champions Trophy played in 2013 where India went on to win the trophy unbeaten. Can they repeat the feat this time is an exciting question amongst the Indian cricket fans. So far so good, India is now a certain favourite to lift this trophy.

South Africa had a lot of ups and downs in the group stage. Very unlikely for South Africa, this time their road to the semi finals wasn't easy. They feared a loss against Netherlands which ultimately they managed to win. They defeated New Zealand and England but lost to Sri Lanka. Now they are up against a good in-form team India.

South Africans are known to get choked in the knock out stages. The only big semi final that they managed to win was way back in 1998 in Bangladesh. Cronje's team then managed to win the trophy as well. But since then South Africa couldn't make it to the finals of any big ICC event.

Indians would be pleased to know that MS Dhoni and his men have never lost a semi final under his captaincy. Yuvraj Singh who suffered an ankle injury during a practice session is declared fit. So he will come in handy with his hard hitting batting and tactful spin.

Just like all the other teams did, even India relies a lot on its spin trio Ashwin, Jadeja and Mishra. They have done match winning jobs for the team and a lot is expected from them. It is good to see Dhoni, Yuvraj, Raina and Kohli in good batting form. It would be a better sight if the openers can contribute to the score.

Sri Lanka has already qualified to the finals. It seems like they have pledged to play finals of all ICC events. Since 2007 world cup, they have played almost all the ICC event finals sans a few. But they haven't managed to win much out of them. Can they turn their fortunes this time and win against India or South Africa? The only thing we cricket fans can do is wait and watch. Enjoy live cricket streaming on Star Sports.
